Nadja, poor girl

In reading Nadja it didn't occur to me that she was "unique" until she pulled Andrea's hat off his head and looked inside. Joe explained to me that men would use "unique" women as muses for their art and that these women would suffer further trauma from this observations. He redeemed himself slightly when, at the end of the book, he said something along the line that the asylum makes people crazy and that patients fighting against their internment was proof of their craziness. That's similar to runaway slaves being labeled as crazy for running away. As a society was may have come further in the study of the mind, but now the problem is having access to the help. So don't go crazy.

The Everyday book quote / Yeah I'm slow

My Quote:

Henri Lefebvre

Agreed on one major point: history is a fundamental science. The human being is historical and its historicity is inherent to it: it produces and is produced, it creates its world and creates itself.

I'm I there yet???

This is getting comical. I'm still trying to learn this stuff. Part of it is rebellion and part is lack of interest.

I think I can, I think I can

I think I've made it.

I'm really behind in the blogging entries .
I accidently erased my photos from the derive.
This is gonna be trial and error learning for me.
Be patient.
